Four teams made their way to the Champions Cup semi-finals and on the men’s side and all participating countries are represented by one team. Nokian KrP from Finland, Pixbo IBK from Sweden, Florbal MB from the Czech Republic and SV Wiler-Ersigen from Switzerland are playing for the two spots in the Champions Cup final.

Champions Cup 2025 continues with the Men’s semi-finals which are also played with the home and away concept, just like the quarterfinals. In the semi-finals, Pixbo IBK will meet SV Wiler-Ersigen and Florbal MB will be taking on Nokian KrP.

Pixbo IBK

Pixbo won the Champions Cup quarter-final against debutants Esport Oilers and advanced to the semi-finals. The first match at home ended in defeat but the Foxes were ready for the second match in Espoo. They won the second match in regular time and finalised their semi-final spot with an overtime goal.

Pixbo have also had a strong start to the new season in the SSL. After 6 matches, Pixbo are leading the table with 18 points. Pixbo have taken some big wins early on as they have won their matches against Växjö Vipers, Linköping IBK and IBF Falun. Felix Lanver is the current top points scorer of the team with 21 points, followed by Oskar Weissbach and Arvid Äse who have 16 and 12 points. Lanver, Äse and Filip Wramdemark made their debut in the Swedish national team during the recent Euro Floorball Tour in Turku and Rauma while Weissbach and Jon Hedlund completed the Pixbo representation in the EFT.

SV Wiler-Ersigen

Wiler-Ersigen met the reigning Champions Cup Champions Tatran Stresovice in the quarterfinals. First match ended in a draw but in the away game Wiler-Ersigen really showed what they are made of. Jan Bürki scored the winning goal for the Swiss side and Wiler secured their spot in the semi-finals. And not only that but they also made sure the defending Champions will not be there.

Currently SVWE find themselves from the 5th place in the L-UPL table according to average points and on the 6th place according to actual points. They have won three and lost three games, two losses came in overtime. Wiler-Ersigen’s best points scorers are previously mentioned Bürki who has 10 points (3+7) and Marco Louis with 9 points (7+2) after six matches. One thing that will be affecting Wiler’s lineup is the missing of Deny Känzig, who suffered an injury in the quarterfinal match against Tatran and is now in rehabilitation.

Florbal MB

Florbal MB won both quarterfinal matches against Zug United and advanced to the semi-finals. The team really celebrated their successful start in the Champions Cup and why wouldn’t they when they missed the previous edition and are now back chasing the title.

Florbal MB are fifth in the Livesport Superliga with 13 points, just behind Vitkovice who got one point more. They have won four and lost three games. Florbal MB’s top scorer is Jakub Vařecha who has scored 9 goals and 12 points in 7 matches. Captain Milan Tomasik is second in the overall scoring statistics with 9 points followed by Michal Sládek and Adam Delong who have 8 points each.

Nokian KrP

Nokian KrP came to the Champions Cup as debutants but have already showed they belong among the top floorball clubs. Two wins against Storvreta IBK made sure of that.

The season has started well for Nokian KrP. They won the Super Cup that was decided in the first game of the season against Esport Oilers and are currently second in the F-liiga table. Nokian KrP have played 9 matches and lost only one, against current leaders TPS. Juuso Ahola is the top points scorer of the team and second best overall points scorer in the league with 21 points (10+11). Captain Joona Rantala has gathered 18 points (9+9) and is fourth on the overall scoring leader statistics.
