Men’s Southern Conference quarter-finals kick off on Sunday 22nd September when Florbal MB and Zug United play their first match at MSH Mlada Boleslav and SV Wiler-Ersigen and Tatran Stresovice meet at Sporthalle Grossmatt. The Second leg matches will be played a week later, on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th September.

Describe your team, and what we should expect from your team during Champions Cup 2025?
We have many representatives from different national teams. During the September break, there were fourteen of them. Czech national team: Lukáš Bauer, Dominik Beneš, Jiří Besta, Adam Delong, Adam Hemerka, Patrik Suchánek, and coach Joonas Naava. Czech national team U23: Jan Zoufalý. Czech national team U19: Jáchym Eliáš, Lukáš Holásek, Jakub Vařecha, Jakub Šourek, Filip Bergman, Mikeš Motejzík, and coaches Ladislav Štancl and Jakub Víšek. Finland national team U23: Joakim Lund.
Every time Bolka plays, our aim is to win. Generally, we will play to win every match, while also playing great, entertaining, fast, and modern floorball to show that we are one of the best teams in the world.

Team rookie or young player to look out for on your team and why?
#23 Jakub Vařecha – The best young player of Czech Superleague 2023/2024. He made 43 points in regular season (26+17) and 10 points in the play-offs (7+3). The most productive player of Czech Superleague born in 2006. He is also a member of the Czech U19 national team.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
#7 Milan Tomašík – Our captain. The most experienced player in our team. He played many years in Sweden (Dalen, Visby, Linköping). He has 105 games for Czech national team. Last season in Czech Superleague: 71 points in 36 games.
Most skillful player?
#72 Adam Delong – The most productive player of Bolka last season in Czech Superleague. He made 88 points in 38 matches. He is also part of Czech national team. He scored a hattrick against Finland in EFT.

Zug United
Describe your team, and what we should expect from your team during Champions Cup 2025?
Zug United Men’s Floorball Team had an outstanding season last year, winning both the Swiss Championship and the Swiss Cup. Their triumph marked a significant achievement in Swiss floorball, showcasing their skill, teamwork, and determination. With a solid roster and tactical excellence, Zug United cemented their position as one of the top teams in the world by securing both prestigious titles in a single season.

Tatran Střešovice is a team built on a winning mentality, skillful play, and strong teamwork. As the reigning champions of the 2024 Champions Cup, we are coming into the 2025 edition with high expectations and the ambition to defend our title. Our roster is a perfect blend of experienced leaders and emerging talent, all of whom possess a high level of technical skill and tactical awareness. We pride ourselves on our fast-paced, creative style of play, combined with a disciplined defense. You can expect relentless energy, innovation on the field, and a hunger to remain the best team in the world.

While #66 Vojtěch Kún is a standout player to watch, known for his physicality and agility, he isn’t the only young talent to look out for. #72 Šimon Vavroušek, #4 Filip Eliáš, and #11 Adam Kučera are also making their mark. Each of them brings something unique to the team — Šimon with his game intelligence, Filip with his technical finesse, and Adam with his calm and composed play under pressure. These young stars are a testament to the strength of our academy, and their development makes Tatran’s future look even brighter. All of them are capable of stepping up during key moments in the Champions Cup 2025.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
Our leader, both on and off the field, is #35 Marek Beneš, our captain for the past two seasons. Marek’s leadership has been instrumental in leading Tatran to back-to-back successful campaigns, including our Champions Cup victory. His ability to elevate his game in critical moments and inspire his teammates with his play and attitude makes him a true leader. Off the field, Marek is deeply respected for his dedication to the team, his mentoring of younger players, and his professional approach to the game.
Most skillful player?
It’s hard to single out just one player as Tatran is known for its technically gifted squad. However, #92 Matěj Čelakovský stands out as a specialist, especially when it comes to penalty shots. Matěj is known for his creative and unpredictable approach to taking penalty shots, consistently delivering under pressure. His flair and composure make him one of the most skillful players on the team.
Which player demonstrates #FairFloorball the best?
The embodiment of #FairFloorball in our squad is #26 Ondra Sádlo. No matter how heated the match gets, Ondra always maintains his composure and treats every situation with fairness and respect. His ability to stay calm under pressure and uphold the values of sportsmanship makes him a role model for the team and the wider sport.
