Four teams play in the Men’s Southern Conference: Tatran Stresovice and FbS Bohemians from Czech republic and Floorball Köniz Bern and SV Wiler-Ersigen from Switzerland.
Describe your team, and what we should expect from your team during Champions Cup 2024?
We have a good mix with players who have a lot of international experience like Manuel Engel, Luca Graf or Jan Zaugg and many young and ambitious players. Our biggest strength is, that we have three good lines and that we play a good defence system where everyone knows what to do. For Floorball Köniz it’s the second participation in the club history. So it will be a good experience for the players and everybody can learn from games of the highest level in international Club-Floorball.

Team rookie or young player to look out for on your team and why?
#21 David Hermle played a great U19 World Championships in April and was nominated for the All-Star Team. A complete center with good shot and passing skills and already a high game intelligence. This season he will take a bigger role in the team for making the next step in his young career.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
#61 Jan Zaugg is our new Captain for this season. He demonstrates his leadership especially on the field because he plays always calm and knows when the team needs him. Off the field Luca Graf, Manuel Engel and Tim Kramer are leaders in the group too because they have a big knowlegde about Floorball.
Most skillful player?
Without a doubt Jan Zaugg. There are not many talented players like him in the whole floorball world. Zaugg can do everything with the ball and it’s a delight to watch him. Brillant technique, great shot and pass quality, perfect athletic abilities and an incredible understanding of the game. But Jan is not just an offensive player, he makes also his job in the defence!
Which player demonstrates #FairFloorball the best?
#19 Alexander Bühler. A hard working forward who the coaches always can count on. He always gives his best. Is involved in many duels but always denies them fairly. Furthermore he is a really nice and considerate person and is always in a good mood.
Describe your team, and what we should expect from your team during Champions Cup 2024?
Young technical team. You can expect a lot of movement and combinations.

#37 Matěj Havlas – he has very good movement and shot. A lot of international experience despite his youth.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
#35 Marek Beneš on the field – he creates the game and comes up with
surprising solutions.

We are an experienced team in international games, but still we have some young players. Our aim is to reach semifinals first and then the road is open for more!

#89 Matteo Fiechter – a very young talented goalkeeper who joined the first squad of SV Wiler-Ersigen for the season 23/24.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
#94 Marco Louis – Marco is a perfect captain and leader for this team because he is fully focused on floorball. On the field he is truly a fighter and leaves everything on the field to help his team to win games.
Most skillful player?
#4 Michal Dudovic – Michal’s stickhandling is probably one of the best in the floorball world. He invests a lot in his skills and the result you can see in his shooting.
Which player demonstrates #FairFloorball the best?
#1 Yanick Flury – Yanick is a really team player and demonstrates it on and off the field. Fair to referees if, for example, he deflects a ball and the referees saw it wrong.
Describe your team, and what we should expect from your team during Champions Cup 2024?
We are a young, ambitious team with players not only from the Czech Republic but also from Slovakia. The spectators will be able to look forward to offensive floorball and will certainly not be bored during the game. We want to show our best.
